  1. Head northeast on HWY-1/Trans Canada Hwy toward Abegweit Blvd(Please remember when you get off the Confederation Bridge that we have a much lower speed limit than NB does and please WATCH the 60 km zone -this is heavily enforced! proceed off the Confederation Bridge maybe 4 kms and watch for the overhead sign to Charlottetown and bear to the right. Drive approx 50 minutes or 57 km.

    2. Turn left at Grafton St/HWY-1/Trans Canada Hwy
When you come into Charlottetown you will be entering in on University Avenue (its the main street) Continue to follow University Ave right to the end (you will come to the war memorial in front of the Provincial building .It's a *T* in the road...Turn LEFT. You are now on Grafton Street. Follow Grafton Street out of Charlottetown over the Hillsborough Bridge approx 18.6 km or 21 minutes where you will see over head signs with the left lane turning on to  Route 3 ( Montague) .

    3. Slight left at HWY-3 (Follow Route 3 for approx 18 minutes or 22.1 kms and you will come to a 4 way corner with red flashing lights (the only ones you will see) You need to turn to the right slightly before those flashing red lights and proceed onto Route 4.

    4. Turn right at AA MacDonald Hwy/HWY-4 -Drive approx 4.2 kms or 4 minutes on Route 4 to the edge of the town of Montague. You will see a  Petro Can/Robin's Donuts right on the corner of  Robertson Road and Main Street. Turn Left onto Robertson's Road.  (If you find that you have passed McDonalds fast food then you have just gone past your turn off)

    5. Turn left at HWY-319/Robertson Rd

Follow Robertson Road 1.5 km or 2 minutes and watch on the right for the sign to Montague River Cottages and Shaws Lane.

    6. Turn right at Shaws Lane

Turn right on to Shaws Lane and follow it nearly to the end. You will notice our sign on the right hand side.

 Turn Onto Robertson Road

           Directions from Wood Islands Ferry from Nova Scotia

1.

Head north on HWY-1/Trans Canada Hwy toward Wood Islands Park Rd (When you get off the ferry drive around 2 bends in the road. On the second bend you will notice turn offs .The first turn off is for Rt 4 but the second turn off is for Rt 315.This is the turn off you will want.

Turn right at HWY-315/Wood Islands Rd (Follow Route 315 for approx 23.2 kms or 18 minutes.)

 

3.

Continue straight onto Commercial Rd/HWY-4

Continue to follow HWY-4 (you will come to a V in the road but you will not be allowed to enter the left road but will be only be able to continue towards the right to the stop sign -You will notice on the right hand side -the liquor store.)

Turn left at HWY-4/Main St (Esso service station)

Continue to follow HWY-4  over the bridge and through 2 sets of traffic lights 1.4 kms or approx 2 minutes

 

 

5.

Turn right at HWY-319/Robertson Rd (next road on the right passed  McDonald's fast food - drive approx 1.5 kms or 2 minutes- Robertson Road is directly before ROBINS DONUTS/Petro Can Gas Station.

 

 

 

6.

Turn right at Shaws Lane (approx 0.8 km or 1 minute. Watch for our sign at the end on the right by the Confederation Walking Trail and drive to the end of the lane.)
